De Wolkerstuin op Amstelglorie is een gastschrijversverblijf aan de rand van Amsterdam, in het originele tuinhuis van Jan en Karina Wolkers. Zij tuinierden op Amstelglorie<\/a> van 1972 tot 1980. Onze eerste subsidie ontvingen we van\u00a0het Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Noord Holland.<\/a> Daarmee werd het vervallen tuinhuis en de verwaarloosde tuin volledig opgeknapt door vrijwilligers, gemoderniseerd en gereedgemaakt voor gastschrijvers. Het schrijvershuisje wordt sinds juni 2018 gerund door vrijwilligers van Amstelglorie. Met de steun van Tuinpark Amstelglorie, de Bond van Volkstuinders en\u00a0subsidies van Het Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds<\/a> en het Lirafonds.<\/a> Van april tot oktober werken schrijvers, journalisten, graphic novelists en toneelauteurs bij ons aan een boek. Drie Librisprijswinnaars en vele andere succesvolle auteurs<\/a> waren bij ons te gast.<\/p>\n

Wanneer te bezoeken?<\/h4>\n

Tussen zonsopgang en zonsondergang ben je altijd welkom op Amstelglorie’s publieke wandelpaden<\/a> en het speelveld.\u00a0De Wolkerstuin is niet vrij toegankelijk voor publiek. Daar zitten schrijvers te werken.\u00a0Een aantal dagen per jaar stellen wij de Wolkerstuin en het huisje open voor belangstellenden. Houd onze agenda in de gaten voor publieksactiviteiten en data waarop rondleidingen en lezingen plaatsvinden.<\/p>\n
