Afgelopen september maakte een filmploeg van Pilot Studios filmopnamen van Arnon Grunberg in de Wolkerstuin. De tweedelige documentaire over 50 jaar Turks Fruit<\/a> werd afgelopen weken uitgezonden op de NTR. De beelden van Amstelglorie en de Wolkerstuin zitten in het tweede deel.<\/p>\n

In hetzelfde jaar als de verschijning van Turks Fruit als film kreeg Jan Wolkers zijn volkstuin op Amstelglorie. Veel Amstelglorianen mochten \u201cniet van hun vrouw\u201d naar deze film, vertrouwden ze de schrijver toe tijdens de gezamenlijke werkbeurten op zaterdagochtend. De boekverfilming werd met ruim 3,3 miljoen bezoekers de succesvolste Nederlandse bioscoopfilm aller tijden<\/a>.<\/p>\n
